The countdown to Christmas is under way after three giant trees were delivered and erected on Friday morning.
The magnificent specimens – kindly donated by our friends at Langford Lakes Christmas Tree Farm – are in the town centre (above), Tonedale (below) and Rockwell Green.
Attention now turns to Saturday with Wellington Town Council putting the finishing touches to a busy day in High Street leading up to the lights switch-on at 6pm.
Entertainment gets underway at noon with ten local acts and schools appearing on the main stage plus street performers from FUSE outdoor arts.
There are also 20 stalls in the Christmas Market featuring local businesses, organisations and food outlets.
