Weekly walking netball sessions for adults are taking place in Wellington.
England Netball are running the sessions at Court Fields School every Monday evening at 7pm.
They say: “If you’ve never played netball, but fancy getting some exercise which isn’t too strenuous, come and have a go – walking netball is a slower version of the game.
“Of course, if you did enjoy playing netball at school, but feel you don’t have the stamina you once did, you’ll also enjoy yourself. It is netball, but at a walking pace, and you will definitely laugh, have fun and make friends.”
The minimum age for players is 18 years.
Sessions cost £4.50, and must be paid for online in advance – cash payments can’t be accepted, but if you have problems getting online to book, please go along early and the organisers will help.
