A life-saving defibrillator has been installed outside the One Stop in Tonedale.

Don’t you just love it when people in the community come together to get things done? This is exactly what has happened at Tonedale.
A group of residents were concerned about the lack of a lifesaving defibrillator in the area and started to raise funds to purchase one. Having raised £1,000 towards the £1,750 cost they approached the league to see if we could help and we were delighted to make up the shortfall.
The One Stop shop has paid for its installation outside the shop in Tonedale and Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance has also played its part in the installation and registration on the 999 call service.
Val May, a resident of Tonedale who was one of the people behind the project, said she was extremely grateful to the league for their support.
