The long-awaited new public toilets block for Longforth Road was delivered and lifted into place yesterday (Sunday).
The original block was badly damaged after a road accident in December, 2022, and was later demolished.
Wellington Town Council reported on its Facebook page: “The toilets have landed – at last.
“Groundworks to follow in the next couple of weeks and then they’ll be ready for use.”

Noticed it was already damaged around the door frame pre launch. Can this be rectified?
We understand this has already been picked up and repairs will be made this week.
