Monument in yellow for Cystic Fibrosis Week

The Monument will be lit on Friday night for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust to mark the charity’s ‘Wear Yellow Day’.

The special day is part of Cystic Fibrosis Week which runs until Sunday.

This year the trust is celebrating 60 years of campaigning.

Supporters are taking part in ’60 for 60′ challenges to raise both awareness and funds for the charity.

Among many others, these include a ‘Coast to Coast Cycle’, a ‘Wales End to End’ event and a sponsored bungee jump.

The Cystic Fibrosis Trust has asked for the Monument to be lit in yellow so, given a fine night, it will be clearly visible.
