Wellington AFC’s hopes of returning to action tonight (Tuesday) have been foiled by the recent heavy rain.
They were due to be away to Street in the premier division of the Toolststion League but a waterlogged pitch has forced the game to be called off.
The original fixture between the sides at the end of last month was also postponed for the same reason.
Next up for the Tangerines is a home game against second-placed Clevedon Town on Saturday.
The club’s U18s were hoping for better news of their game tonight – they were scheduled to play away to Yeovil Town U18s in division one of the Western Counties Floodlit Youth League.
But those hopes were dashed when the game also fell victim to a waterlogged pitch.
