Some of the youngest residents of Wellington met some of the oldest as Nynehead Court hosted a ‘Little Hands and Big Hearts’ session at the home.
The sessions are the idea of local organisation Growing Minds and bring together babies, toddlers, and older adults in a nurturing and playful environment.
Joanne Fenn, Manager of Nynehead Court, said: “Our residents love watching and spending time with children, so this session was a real treat for them.
“They enjoyed talking to the mums and hearing their stories, which reminded them of when they were bringing up their own families.
“This was the first of what we hope will be a regular event in our calendar.”
