An open invitation has been extended to a samba drumming taster session near Wellington on Sunday, November 8th.
Organisers say: “We are looking for a few more players to join our dynamic samba reggae group.
“The available positions are choreographed, so if you have a good sense of rhythm and would like to move and dance, this could be for you!
“If you enjoy the taster and would like to join the band, we practice on Saturdays in Stawley (TA21 0HW) at 10.30am and sometimes outdoors in Nynehead in the warmer months.
“We are looking for members who can commit to Saturday practices where possible.
“We are slowly working towards being performance ready, and would like members who are up for it!
“No experience needed – if you’re interested, please Whatsapp or text Emm on 07534312993.”
The taster session next week takes place at Stawley from 12 noon.
