A young Wellington band The Fens has just won a competition to perform at the influential Godney Gathering festival later this year. They also play The Dolphin on Thursday this week.
The Fens are a group of three lads: Finn Askew, Eren Boga, and Nick Denslow who all live in Wellington. They write and perform their own material as well as covering a wide selection of indie/pop contemporary music. The band’s line-up is (Finn) acoustic guitar, (Eren) keyboard and drums (Nick) bass guitar.
After success busking in Taunton and Exeter,The Fens ae now being booked for weddings, pub gigs and small festivals. “We have many more invites in the bag! Our lead vocalist, Finn Askew is also well known on the music circuit and has written many of our original songs and performed at Welliestock 2015,” said drummer Eren.
