The finishing touches have been made today (Thursday) to a lasting memory of the Queen’s 70-year reign.
Wellington Town Council commissioned a graffiti company to produce artwork across the railway bridge at Tonedale.
Sam from Taunton-based Aerosol Art has been working on the panels of the pedestrian walkway, illustrating key events during Her Majesty’s reign.
The project was the idea of the Mayor of Wellington, Cllr Mark Lithgow, who said: “After seeing the finished artwork on Tonedale footbridge I was pleasantly reminded of most of the events depicted.
“I think this town council commissioned public art is a great example of how we can make Wellington a more visually attractive place than it already is.”
