Wellesley Park Primary School welcomed Olympic medal-winning rower Rebecca Wilde yesterday (Wednesday).
She won a bronze in double sculls at this summer’s games in Paris.
Headteacher, Mrs Carly Wilkins, said: “Rebecca shared her amazing journey, from her early days in rowing to competing on the world stage.
“Her stories of dedication, perseverance and success truly inspired both pupils and staff.
“Thank you, Rebecca, for taking the time to visit us and for motivating future champions.
“Your visit has left a lasting impact on all of us.”
