There’s another new name providing the entertainment at the latest free concert from the Friends of Wellington Park this weekend.
Exeter-based BIAS will be performing from the bandstand between 2.30pm and 4.30pm on Sunday.
They say: “We are a covers band, bringing you the very best music from the sixties onwards, consisting of keys, guitar, drums, bass guitar & vocals.
“BIAS are a 100% live band made up from very experienced musicians – most of us have been together for nearly 20 years – led by Dee, our lead vocalist.
“Our goal is to provide the highest quality of entertainment and keep everyone dancing so perm your hair (if you still have any!), get out the lycra, tune up your air guitar and get ready to party!
As usual, the entertainment gets under way at 2.30pm, the friends will be selling refreshments and there will be limited covered seating available.
There will also be a collection during the afternoon to cover costs – please give generously.
The following Sunday sees the final concert of the summer season with a welcome return for the ever-popular Jason Toft.
