The renowned young a cappella vocal quintet, Apollo5, are singing in Wellington this week. The group is celebrated for ‘a stunning, beautiful sound’ and has been praised for its engaging and entertaining performances. With an eclectic repertoire, ranging from retro jazz to pop and classical arrangements, they are adept performers on the concert platform. The group’s CV of performances includes the Royal Albert Hall and Pizza Express Jazz Club in Soho, as well as many prestigious international venues. Their album With a Song in my Heart was released recently to great acclaim, featuring classic standards by Gershwin, Cole Porter, Stevie Wonder and Stephen Sondheim.
Adult tickets are available, priced at £10, to include a glass of fizz, or a soft drink and a programme. The concert is being held in the chapel at Wellington School.
