Local artists Tess Armitage and Craig Askew have a joint exhibition this week in The Orangery, Nynehead Court. The show is entitled From Moor to Sea and is a large selection of landscapes and seascapes from the two painters, similar subjects but reflecting their very different styles of work.
Tess, who lives in Stawley, has her studio on a farm in the Brendon Hills and her often very delicate paintings very much reflect her love of Exmoor. Craig, head of art at Wellington School, is currently fascinated by shorelines – often highlighting wading birds.
The exhibition is open from 10am – 5pm daily until Sunday, Oct 6th
