Land Girls have a two-point lead as Wellington Ladies’ Skittles League goes into its Christmas/New Year break.
They beat Water Babies by 23 pins on Monday night with Carol Gamlin’s 54 being the highest home score of the night.
Second-placed Split Pins also won – by 38 away to Wobbly Pins – while champions Jolly Blues had a bye and are third with two games in hand.
