Wellington Town Council has started planting the summer bedding today (Thursday).
The first bed in the park has been planted by dementia charity Reminiscence Learning, part of trying to appeal to wider groups and users in the town and to support those groups.
Reminiscence Learning will be maintaining this bed on a weekly and their sign will soon be added.
Tomorrow, Beech Grove School pupils will be planting in the Ivy Ring at the park and Green Days Day Care will be planting next Thursday.
