Charity’s triple header of fundraising events

Wellington-based Reminiscence Learning is planning three very different fundraising events over coming weeks.

They get under way on February 9th when popular local band Monopole will be performing at the charity’s latest ‘Dance for Dementia’ at the Rugby Club.

Tickets are £12.50 including supper – to book, email office@reminiscencelearning.co.uk or call 01823 668676.

Meanwhile, Reminiscence Learning is accepting entries for its annual Dance-a-thon, also being held next month.

The 12-hour challenge takes place in Oake Village Hall on Saturday, February 24th, from 10am to 10pm.

The charity says: “There is a very exciting line-up of guest dancers, demos and classes throughout the day ranging from Belly Dancing, AVTAR Indian Dancing, Clubbercise, Jive, Line Dancing and a Glowstick Disco.

“We’ll also be running our annual ‘Team With A Theme’ fancy dress competition with a cash prize kindly sponsored by SJ Accounting.

“This promises to be a really relaxed and fun event with lots of laughs and Christmas calorie burn-off along the way!”

If you would like to enter, or already have a team finalised, please email office@reminiscencelearning.co.uk or call 01823 668676 to get signed up

Finally, Reminiscence Learning is holding a Pre-loved Sale at Wellington Baptist Church on Saturday, March 16th.

Traders are asked to share 50 per cent of their takings with Reminiscence Learning whose proceeds from the day will support its client and community sessions.

If you would like a table, please email office@reminiscencelearning.co.uk or call 01823 668676.
