People in Wellington, who provide Christmas boxes to go out to Ukraine and Moldova, are being reminded of the deadline.
David and Janice Bawler say: “There are many people in Wellington and the surrounding area who fill boxes with Christmas gifts for Christian Response to Eastern Europe (cr2ee).
“We have been notified that those intended for Ukraine will leave the UK in mid-October and those for Moldova in early November.
“This means we will need them at least a week beforehand.
“Boxes can be any size, wrapped in festive paper, and should be marked whether for boy/girl and approximate age.
“Gift boxes for adults of all ages and families are also very welcome.
“The only stipulation is that, due to Custom regulations, all gifts must new.
