Christmas lights in the town centre go on at 6pm on Saturday, November 28th. Among the attractions are appearances from the Wellington Majorettes, the Wizard of Oz cast and displays from the Emergency Services.
There will also be a roundabout for children and a number of traders will stay open late for Christmas shopping. The Celebration of Light will take place in the Quaker Meeting House.
