Pupils and staff of Wellesley Park Primary School enjoyed a memorable Colour Run fundraiser.
Head of school, Mr Danny Houton, said: “A huge thank you to all the children, parents, and staff who took part — it was fantastic to see so many smiling faces (even if they were covered in colour by the end!).
“We also want to say a massive thank you to our PTA for all their time, effort and hard work in organising this event.
“We were incredibly lucky with the weather, which made the whole event even more enjoyable.
“From start to finish, there was laughter, energy, and plenty of colourful moments that we’ll remember for a long time.
“We’d also like to say a huge thank you to the amazing local businesses who sponsored each colour and helped make this event possible.”
The Colour Run raised about £1,500 to support enrichment activities across the school and for the larger project to refurbish its library.
