On a beautiful spring day, a small group of Year 7 students from Court Fields School visited Wellington Community Food’s farm near the Basins.
The school reports: “This is a small-scale vegetable growing farm, right on our doorstep!
“Our visit supported the students’ science learning on food chains and webs, and we had the chance to ‘Interview the Farmer’ to gain an insight into careers in farming.
“Thanks to Wellington Community Food for providing this opportunity for some hands-on learning.”
