Wellington Cricket Club have announced a ground sponsorship deal.
Their facilities at the Playing Field ground will now be known as the Lloyd & Whyte Cricket Ground, marking an initial two-year partnership with Taunton-based insurance brokers Lloyd & Whyte Community Broking.
Gemma Mather, the company’s regional director, said: “We’re very proud to be the primary ground sponsor for the club.
“I am from Wellington, so the cricket club is an integral part of my community, and it’s great to be able to support it through Lloyd & Whyte Community Broking.”
Lloyd & Whyte also extended thanks to Wellington CC chair Mark Salter for agreeing to the sponsorship.
