The 90th Wellington Flower Show will take place this Saturday in the Alan Rogers Centre at Wellington School.
The show will run from 2.15pm until 5pm, with entry at 1.45pm for disabled visitors.
The venue is next to the Princess Royal Sports Centre off South Street. It’s wheelchair friendly, with a lift to the main hall, and there is plenty of parking available.
Secretary Sheena Page said: “We are celebrating 50 years of the show at Wellington School, initially in the Great Hall and now in the Alan Rogers Centre.
“As well as a wonderful array of produce, craft, cookery, floral art and children’s work, there will be a plant stall, craft stalls and, of course, delicious homemade cakes to have with your cup of tea.
“We look forward to seeing you on Saturday – it costs £2 to get into the show and just 50p for children.
“It should be a great afternoon.”
