Wellington RFC held their Annual Dinner and Presentation Evening in the clubhouse on Saturday evening.
The event attended by 85 people from the Senior, Vixens and Colts sections.
Chairman Gareth Hodgson opened the event, thanking every one for their attendance and saying he was delighted to see so many new faces, especially the U18 section.
Matthew Colman (President), Ashley Colman (Secretary) and Allyn Cheltland (Director of Rugby) presented the awards throughout the evening and Matthew had the honour of welcoming special guest Will Hurrell, ex-Leicester, Bristol and Bath.
He responded with a heartfelt speech to the players, urging them to enjoy every minute of their careers and to give 100%, both in training and on the field.
Guests were treated to a two-course meal, followed by music provided by Tom Hunt. They were also delighted to receive a wonderful message from President Trump (the wonders of AI!).
Members are reminded that the new Pizza/BBQ area will be officially opened on May 8th and the evening will include a Quiz Night.
