This Saturday sees a Fancy Dress Fun run in wellies from 11am at the Rugby Club with the run starting at 12noon. The run will start and finish the run at the Rugby Club on a 3.7km route that will include running through the town and some cross-country running.
“There will be a charge of £3 entry per person with a 50/50 sponsorship – this means 50% of the profits will go to FLAG and 50% to the persons chosen club/charity, but if the entrant wishes all the sponsorship money can go to FLAG,” explained Wellington Experience organiser Sue White.
“All entrants will be given a medal for taking place. There will be a separate course for the 10’s and under.”

There will be stands inside the Rugby Club hopefully including massages, hair ups and men’s hairdressing, bouncy castles, majorettes and music. The bar and kitchen will be open in the Rugby Club. Helpers as always are needed along with stands, etc.
In the evening there will be a presentation, disco, buffet, raffle and possibly auction in Wellington Football Club which will cost £5 per ticket including a buffet. Tickets available from Wednesday, 12 March from Sue White at the Wellington Weekly office or ring 07592 599086.
