After more than a month of postponements, Wellington AFC finally return to action tonight (Tuesday).
A noon pitch inspection at Cheddar was successful and so their Les Phillips Cup quarter-final, ko 7.45pm, goes ahead at the fourth attempt.
The Tangerines have played only once since Boxing Day – ironically also in the same cup as victory over Shepton Mallet on January 14th booked their place in the last eight.
Wellington will go into tonight’s game as favourites because Cheddar are struggling in the division below them, third from bottom with only three wins in 27 games.
The winners will be home to Barnstaple Town in the semi-finals.
