Wellington has another new retailer specialising in vintage furniture and retro collectables. Joanna Fairchild opened the doors of Vie de Vintage with a wealth of experience to support her ambitions.
“I ran a similar shop called Nolly’s in South Molton for about four years and it was doing really well until personal circumstances forced me to to move to London for a while,” said Jo, who spotted her new shop whilst driving down Mantle St.
“Wellington seems a very vibrant town with new businesses opening everywhere I look,” she said. One of her specialities is architectural salvage sourced through contacts in France.
“I like to keep the stock moving quickly so I’m always open to a haggle or a deal, it’s so that I can keep fresh stuff coming in.”
