Court Fields School has welcomed the arrival of new sport kits for its students.
It has been made possible through the generous support of several local businesses – G&L Consultancy, Mass Care, Mount Vets, WJ, Albert Goodman and Taurus Projects.
Yesterday (Tuesday), the Head of PE, James Conway, welcomed representatives from the sponsoring organisations to Court Fields to officially view the new kits and meet some of the students who will be wearing them during fixtures throughout the year.
Following the photo session, guests enjoyed refreshments and the chance to speak with staff and students about the importance of sport and extracurricular opportunities within the school community.
James said afterwards: “”We are incredibly grateful to G&L Consultancy, Mass Care, Mount Vets, WJ, Albert Goodman and Taurus Projects for their generous sponsorship of our new sports kits.
“Their support enables our students to represent Court Fields School with pride and professionalism at sporting fixtures across the region.
“Partnerships with local businesses are invaluable, and we are delighted to have their backing.”
Mrs Polly Matthews, Headteacher, added: “I would like to extend our sincere thanks to all the sponsoring businesses for their commitment to supporting young people and enriching opportunities for students both on and off the sports field.
Once again, our local community in Wellington has demonstrated the capacity to work together to improve the lives of our local young people.
“I know the students are thrilled with the new sports kits, which I’m sure will give them a lift when representing the school.”
