Back by popular demand and promising a fantastic two hours of jazz and swing, Tone Big Band are returning to the Wellington Arts Centre this Sunday.
Under the direction of Nick Brace, the band played at the Arts Centre in September to a packed house and they are back to share some more toe tapping music.
They will bring their blend of classics and standards from the likes of Duke Ellington, Count Basie and Glenn Miller, mixed with numbers from the modern era and a few seasonal tunes thrown in.
Nick said: “We’re really looking forward to coming back – we had such a good time last time, some of the band live in the town and that always gives things an extra buzz.”
This is another lunchtime concert – from noon until 2pm – with a bar and room to dance if the fancy takes you!
Entrance is free with a donation bucket at the end which will be split between the band and the Arts Centre.
