Verdi’s epic Requiem will be performed next week by a chorus of some 150 Wellington School pupils, staff, parents and friends . It is, without doubt, one of the best-loved choral works, at once achingly moving and thrillingly dramatic. The gala concert with massed forces, will once again take place in the Princess Royal Sports Hall on Sunday 3 March at 7:30pm. Accompanied by a 60-piece professional orchestra and further graced with a glittering line up of professional solo talent – Naomi Harvey (Soprano), Amanda Beaumont (Mezzo Soprano), Geraint Dodd (Tenor) and Eddie Wade (Bass) it promises to be an exhilarating performance.
This year, we have two types of ticket. A standard ticket is priced at £15, and a VIP ticket priced at £25 (The VIP ticket will include seating in the upstairs balcony area, a glass of fizz and canapés on arrival and at the interval).
