Eric Darlow, former chief inspector of the HM Quarry Inspectorate and a senior figure in the Health & Safety Executive, has been awarded an MBE in the New Year’s Honours List.
Mr Darlow (photo, centre) of Voxmoor, Wellington, is a hugely respected and experienced figure in the aggregates business and well=known in the industry for his pursuit of increased safety consciousness in a very hazardous environment.
