Demolition of the former Medical Centre at Bulford began this week. By Wednesday evening all that remained of the former building was a huge pile of rubble with two huge swing shovels sitting atop the debris.
McCarthy & Stone, the developers, originally planned to begin construction of their 45 later living apartments in June but with work proceeding at this pace one would be surprised to see new residents moving in by the end of the year. McCarthy & Stone say they have been overwhelmed by enquiries for the properties, many fro local people who wish to trade down from a larger home and live close to the centre of town.
