Westpark 26, the industrial estate behind the Skylark pub at the Chelston roundabout is about to expand by around 50%, following planning permission for 14 more units plus a storage compound. All 26 units in the first two blocks at the park have been sold.
Ben Trickey, senior development surveyor for Summerfield Developments, said: “We’re pleased to announce these plans as a result of the success already experienced at Westpark 26 so far.
“Thanks in large part to its prime location in the heart of the South West, we now have a strong mix of occupiers and successful businesses located at the park, and this planned expansion will give even more companies the opportunity to grow and thrive in this business environment.”
Westpark 26 is located adjacent to Chelston Business Park and is set to ultimately total 500,000 sq ft of mainly industrial and warehouse facilities. It currently has a hotel and pub along with workshops and starter units,
