Last summer’s wonderful weather inspired the start of a whole new collection of work from Wellington-based artist Claire Western.
This will all be on show for the first time in an exciting and varied exhibition entitled Spring Tide, at the Pop-Up Shop in Fore Street from today (Monday) until Saturday – 10am until 4pm.
Claire’s work is exhibited and sold widely throughout the South West. She also does demonstrations and workshops for art groups and societies in Somerset and Devon and runs highly successful classes at Eliza House in High Street.
Her art show at the Pop-Up in 2021 was the first event to be held there and one of several she has organised. Each has been in aid of a charity and the latest will be for the British Heart Foundation.
Claire said: “Combining art with a charity fundraising event at the Pop-Up has worked brilliantly in the past, with great interest and generosity shown by the people of Wellington.
“For family and personal reasons, I have chosen the British Heart Foundation this time.”
