Rumwell Farm Shop is holding a Charity Quiz and Supper Evening to fundraise for Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance, which has its offices on Chelston Business Park.
The shop, on the A38 between Wellington and Taunton, has been raising money for the charity throughout 2026 and the latest event is on Friday, September 25th.
Partner Sophie Mitchell said: “If you’re a bit of a quiz buff or would simply like to enjoy a great night out with friends, family or colleagues, then please join us.
“As well as the quiz, guests will enjoy a two-course hot supper, which includes a main course followed by a selection of homemade desserts.
“Anyone keen to take part can gather a team together of up to eight people and book online through our website.
“Whether you’re entering with work colleagues, friends or family members, it’s a fantastic way to spend an evening while supporting a very worthwhile cause.
“The team with the highest score on the night will get to lift our coveted Rumwell Cup and will also receive prizes.”
During the evening there will also be a fundraising raffle featuring a selection of prizes donated by the Shop, along with its suppliers and friends.
Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance recently announced plans to expand and enhance its life-saving service through its 2nd Heli Appeal, which aims to raise £1 million towards the purchase of a second helicopter.
Following the launch of the appeal, Rumwell Farm Shop decided to continue supporting the charity for a further 12 months to help contribute to its future fundraising efforts.
Sophie added: “Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance does an incredible job caring for people in their hour of need and we are delighted to continue supporting the charity.
“When we heard about the charity’s ambitious plans to purchase a second helicopter, we felt it was important to keep helping them raise funds. Every ticket purchased and every raffle ticket sold will contribute towards supporting their vital work.
“We hope lots of people will join us for what promises to be another enjoyable evening.”
Tickets cost £23 per person for a two-course supper, including a £1 quiz entry fee. Tables must be booked online in advance.
