There’s a big home game for Wellington AFC tomorrow (Saturday) while Wellington Chiefs have a testing local derby.
The Tangerines host Clevedon Town at the Carly Press Ground in the premier division of the Jewson Western League.
They will face a stiff challenge because Clevedon top the table, three points ahead of Sidmouth Town.
The sides have already met once this season, back in October, and although Wellington took the lead through Josh Baker, they went on to be beaten 3-1.

After last weekend’s cancellation, Wellington Reserves return to action with a trip to play Crediton United 2nds but there’s no game for the A team.
On Sunday, the Wildcats Ladies host Bridport, ko 2pm, and will be hoping to continue their unbeaten home run.
In rugby, the Chiefs – whose home game last weekend was rained off – are still looking for their first win of the season in Tribute South West Regional Two.
It’s a short trip to Tiverton tomorrow and, like the Tangerines, they will be up against it as the Devon club are currently second in the table behind Weston-super-Mare.
Wellington 2nds are home to North Petherton 2nds, ko 2.30pm, while the Vixens return from a month-long break on Sunday with a trip to Brixham.
