Wellington Medical Centre is hosting four flu and Covid vaccination clinics for eligible patients.
They will take place on:
- October 3rd.
- October 10th.
- October 17th.
- November 7th.
The centre’s Patient Participation Group (PPG) says: “If you have been invited and have an appointment – more appointments are being sent – please arrive at your allocated appointment time.
“Patients cannot be seen earlier than their appointment time or without an appointment.
“Arriving at the correct time will help the clinics run smoothly, reduce waiting times and avoid congestion and long queues in the car park.
“Thank you for helping the practice team make these busy vaccination clinics run as smoothly as possible.”

The Patient Participation Group, which met on September 15th, is all about helping to keep patients and the practice connected.

At the meeting, Dr Emily Eve and the Practice Manager, Janet Hewlett, gave the committee an update on the running of the practice.
These discussions are an important part of the PPG’s work and give us the opportunity to hear about the practice, discuss feedback and look at ways we can work together for the benefit of patients.
It was agreed that money raised through PPG fundraising will be used to purchase two new trolleys for the nursing team.
