Pupils in Year 6 at St John’s C of E Primary School in Wellington hit a different kind of target from those set in the classroom last week when they attended an archery workshop arranged through the school and Somerset Skills & Learning. And parents went along too.
A spokesperson for the school said, “Laura from Diverse Coaching introduced the children and their parents to archery techniques and everyone had a great time. It got quite competitive when they had to race to answer archery questions before bursting balloons stuck to a target.”
