Local councillors George Western and Andrew Govier are inviting people to take part in a community litter pick at Rockwell Green, as part of an initiative to keep the area clean, safe, and welcoming.
The event will take place from 12.30pm on Sunday, with volunteers meeting at the Well Christian Centre.
Residents of all ages are encouraged to get involved and help make a visible difference in their local environment.
Participants are asked to bring their own equipment where possible.
“This is a great opportunity for the community to come together and take pride in where we live,” said Cllr Western.
“Small actions like this can have a big impact, and I’m looking forward to seeing a strong turnout.”
The litter pick is the first of several planned events aimed at supporting community wellbeing and environmental responsibility across the area.
