Voters in Wellington are being reminded to make sure they are registered to vote and able to take part in the forthcoming local elections.
Polls for the new unitary council for Somerset and for Wellington Town Council – along with neighbouring parish councils – take place on Thursday, May 5th.
It’s quick and easy to register to vote but, after the deadline of April 14th, it will be too late.
Research shows that young people, students and recent home movers are particularly less likely to be registered to vote.
If you’re not registered, you won’t be able to have your say on issues which directly affect your day-to-day life in Somerset.
