The first Wellington Film Festival will take place from September 30th until October 2nd.
The three-day community festival will be centred around the art deco Wellesley Cinema while also showing films in churches, schools, pubs and cafes.
The programme varies from late-night classics to documentaries made by local film-makers, plus rare archive footage featuring town events and a look back at 250 years of textiles at Fox Bros.
Transition Town Wellington are curating an evening of short environmental documentaries and there is a lecture from award-winning British director Ken Loach.
Other fun includes a pub movie quiz plus a silent film with live musical accompaniment.
