Our High Street was a hive of activity today (Saturday) as Wellington Independent Market made a welcome return.
Organised by Maxine Price and Charlotte Beatty – mother and daughter owners of The Nook & Cranny – this month’s event boasted more than 40 stalls.
In addition to the fantastic array of items for sale, there was a busy programme of entertainment including the Ukes of Wellington, Skintight Samba and open mic sessions.
Also, Little Wild Exotics were in the Hub at The Nook & Cranny with their reptiles and creepy crawlies, Wellington Motors MG displayed a selection of vehicles and there was a tombola in aid of local charity Kieran’s Legacy.
Maxine and Charlotte said: “We’d like to thank everyone who has supported us again, particularly those stallholders attending for the first time.
“Special thanks to this month’s sponsors, SB Bakes and Neil’s Coffee Stop.”
