Police are appealing for witnesses after a fatal accident closed the M5 north and southbound between Wellington & Taunton for most of Sunday evening. A male pedestrian, believed to be from Taunton, was struck by an articulated lorry and died at the scene.
The incident happened just before 7pm and officers have asked for anyone with information about the accident to contact the Avon and Somerset force collision investigation unit on 101 quoting log number CI115/15.
