Wellington u3a held their first meeting on the year at the Rugby Club on Monday.

It’s a tradition of the club to open with a quiz, put together by our long-standing member Mike Crew.
This year was no exception, with pictures being matched, identified, names/places and programmes all used, then connections being the answer required. Some old, some new and all tricky.
An excellent way to wake in the year. It was fun as well and gave us two hours of top-notch entertainment.
Attendance was down but there’s a lot of colds/flu about as well as inclement weather but we were still able to welcome along five new prospective members.
We look forward to seeing them again, and anyone else who thinks they would like to find out about us, at our next meeting which is in the Rugby Club, Corams Lane, on February 9th at 10.15am.
Just pick up your coat, don’t forget your cup for a complementary drink of your choice, and come along. You’ll be welcome and we look forward to seeing you.
