Two sisters from Wellington School won medals in a local fencing event. Nina (13) and Olivia Savage (11) both won Silver in their age groups in the recent Leon Paul Junior Series Fencing Competition held at Truro. This competition forms part of a series of events sponsored by Leon Paul and 
held throughout the UK. It attracts fencers from all parts of the country so both Nina and Olivia did particularly well to overcome such tough opposition. In two thrilling finals, Nina only narrowly lost 10 – 8 and Olivia was also close to Gold – losing 10 – 7.
