The Wellington-based Big House Company won bronze for Self-catering Establishment of the Year at the South West tourism Excellence awards in Plymouth last week. There were over 35 entries, a record.

Based at Tonedale House, formerly the home of the Fox family when the Tone textile mills were the heart of the local economy, the Big House Company specialises in renting out large country houses in Somerset and Devon for celebrations and corporate events.
