The popular Wellington Women in Business group held another highly successful meeting in BrewTwo at The Cleve yesterday (Wednesday).
Here’s their full report …
Last night’s gathering was nothing short of transformative.
With an inspiring guest appearance by Nick Tudge, Business Development Manager at Search4Local, the evening provided invaluable insights for women entrepreneurs navigating the often overwhelming world of digital marketing and business growth.
Founders Maz and Zoe commented on the event’s success: “We were delighted when Nick contacted us about coming to run a digital workshop, thanks to the connection made by our long-standing member Jo from Joanna Teasdale Acupuncture.
“His tips and tricks for digital success proved invaluable for the group, helping us better understand the ever-changing online world.”
Nick brought clarity to the chaos by breaking down the foundations of a strong digital presence. He stressed the importance of having clear visions and strong strategies — showing how strong leadership begins with understanding your own brand and purpose.
He highlighted the power of connecting to clients through genuine, value-driven content, and how tools like the concise use of Google, engaging blogs, and informative FAQs can significantly enhance visibility and trust.
The key message? SEO isn’t just technical — it’s about making it easier for your ideal customers to find you and connect with what you offer.
Above all, Nick’s session underscored the importance of understanding your customers — their needs, questions, and behaviour. When you truly know who you’re speaking to, your marketing becomes more meaningful, and your impact greater.
Maz and Zoe added: “We would love to see the steps you’ve taken — or plan on taking — since the meeting, as our development delights us as WWIB founders! Seeing the growth and momentum within the group is what keeps us inspired.”
The group’s next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, May 14th, with full details to follow.
In the meantime, any queries can be sent to wwib3@outlook.com, where Maz and Zoe will be happy to help.
Wellington Women in Business continues to be a space of inspiration, education, and connection — empowering women to lead with clarity and confidence in business and beyond.
