The Volunteer Centre at Wellington Library has a monthly meeting from now until Easter for anyone who wants to explore the opportunites for volunteering. The first one of the year is on Wednesday this week
Each session will be provided by Engage, the charity which aims to support the development of voluntary and community sectors in Taunton Deane. The charity provides services which include operating local Volunteer Centres, co-ordinating opportunities for voluntary groups to meet, receive briefings and discuss matters of mutual interest, providing advice and support on setting up and running charities, advising on potential funding sources and preparing funding applications and establishing projects to respond to local needs.
The Volunteer Centre will be open on Wednesday 25th January, Wednesday 22nd February, Wednesday 22nd March and Wednesday 26th April 2017. All sessions take place from 1pm to 4pm.
Other sessions are available in Wiveliscombe Library and Priorswood Library as well as the usual Tuesday morning session in Taunton Library. Full details are on Engage’s website.
